Michel Kodjo – CEO of Botzbrain

A Journey of Ambition

Michel Kodjo was born in February 1995 in Lagos, Nigeria. Around the age of 5 or 6, his parents decided to move from Nigeria to Togo, seeking a fresh start and a place that connected them to their roots. His father, a native of Togo, and his mother, a Nigerian, wanted a future for their children that combined the best of both worlds. Michel grew up in Togo, where he excelled academically, eventually earning a bachelor’s degree in Electronics in 2016.

However, his passion was not confined to electronics alone. As technology rapidly evolved, so did Michel’s interests. He found himself drawn to the world of web programming. After earning his degree, he pivoted his career towards this new field and began learning web development through online platforms like OpenClassrooms and Udemy. Determined to master this field, Michel studied tirelessly, building his knowledge and skills.

After a year of honing his craft, Michel knew he wanted more. He desired to dive deeper into web development, explore cutting-edge technologies, and immerse himself in a global tech community. This desire led him to Canada in 2019, where he arrived as an international student, full of hope and ambition. The challenges of being in a new country as a student were no small feat, but Michel’s drive to succeed kept him moving forward. He completed a diploma in web development and decided to follow his true calling in entrepreneurship.

While most of his peers pursued traditional career paths, Michel chose a different route. He knew from the moment he arrived in Canada that his ultimate goal was to create something innovative and impactful. In 2021, after receiving his diploma, Michel began working as a junior web developer at a small agency in Montreal. It was there that his entrepreneurial spirit continued to grow. Over the next three years, through countless trials, errors, and tireless effort, Michel founded his fourth startup, Botzbrain. Along with a dedicated team, he developed Fiona, an advanced AI assistant that would soon make waves in the tech industry.

Botzbrain is also expanding its partnerships, collaborating with other tech giants to integrate Fiona into various systems and devices globally. This includes industries like smart home technology, where Fiona could become a central hub for managing all devices, and the automotive industry, where Fiona’s AI could assist in navigation, scheduling, and real-time vehicle management.
