Michel Kodjo was born in February 1995 in Lagos, Nigeria. Around the age of 5 or 6, his parents decided to move from Nigeria to Togo, seeking a fresh start and a place that connected them to their roots. His father, a native of Togo, and his mother, a Nigerian, wanted a future for their children that combined the best of both worlds. Michel grew up in Togo, where he excelled academically, eventually earning a bachelor’s degree in Electronics in 2016.
However, his passion was not confined to electronics alone. As technology rapidly evolved, so did Michel’s interests. He found himself drawn to the world of web programming. After earning his degree, he pivoted his career towards this new field and began learning web development through online platforms like OpenClassrooms and Udemy. Determined to master this field, Michel studied tirelessly, building his knowledge and skills.
After a year of honing his craft, Michel knew he wanted more. He desired to dive deeper into web development, explore cutting-edge technologies, and immerse himself in a global tech community. This desire led him to Canada in 2019, where he arrived as an international student, full of hope and ambition.
